THE ROLE:

Objective / Purpose of Role

The Objective of this role is to help reduce the dependency on Third Parties for the QA / RP functions. Help maintain a high standard of efficiency across QA and RP functions.

Key Activities / Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous cover of day to day activities, tasks and enquiries
  • Proactively to ensure that the company is in a permanent state of inspection-readiness
  • To ensure that the QMS is maintained, including change control, deviations, risk assessments and CAPA
  • Change controls – raise, log, review, follow up on completion, ensure completion dates are adhered to including effectiveness checks
  • Deviations & CAPAs – raise, log, review, follow up on completion including effectiveness checks for CAPAs
  • Documentation heavy role including moving documents from SharePoint to the QMS, updating SOPs and job specs, filing etc

The Candidate

  • Life science degree; including pharmacy, chemistry or other equivalent qualification is preferred
  • minimum 1 year previous experience in equivalent roles, such as a pharmaceutical quality assurance role within a wholesaler or manufacturing setting
  • Understanding of GDP is ideal or a mix of GDP/GMP
  • Experience of having carried out, or been exposed to, the implementation of a QMS and associate documentation/administrative tasks
  • Only candidates with existing right to work in the UK/EU will be considered
