Medical Information Responding to enquiries on company products and therapy areas within timescales agreed with the enquirer and in accordance with the company Standard Operating Procedures and Industry guidelines. This may be in the form of verbal, written and letter responses. Working closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial Strategy, Drug Safety, Legal and Regulatory Affairs departments. Responsibilities can include but are not limited to review of promotional material, writing documents such as standard response letters, FAQ’s, formulary documents and training materials. Roles can be office or field based.

Medical Writing Responsibilities include researching, writing and editing documents such as clinical study reports, investigator’s brochures and Informed Consent Forms, Conference abstracts, literature reviews and posters and working to ICH guidelines. Medical writers can also come under the job title of Medical or Scientific Communications.
